My new hobby

Ok, so I have been wanting to learn photography for a while now. But if you have never read a photography book, imagine if a Chinese book and Geometry book somehow had a baby book... this would be the result. I understand the basics but I have a lot to learn.

Anywho, I decided to plunk down the cash and buy a nice DSLR camera. I am yet to figure out what I am doing but here are a few test shots of Lane on my 1st day.

  3. I had the chance to use my sister's friend's DSLR camera for the past two weeks and I'm in LOVE with it. I've taken thousands of pictures with it and I really think it's better (easier) to learn with the camera in your hands than the book (I lasted thru the first two books of Canon for dummies before I got too anxious). I love the pictures of Lane watching the cartoons and in the tunnel.

  4. Great pics, girl! We got a DSLR camera a 2 years ago, and it's all I ever shoot with now. I don't care if it's clunky...now that I've used it, all pictures from my other camera just seem crappy. The easiest way (for me at least) to get really good pictures is to set the camera to AV, and the ISO to 400-600 (outside). Your pics will be so crisp, you'll be amazed!! Have fun learning, you're off to a great start! I especially love the one of him in the tunnel :)
