Lane @ 32 Weeks

We had meant to do these chair pictures next to his teddy once a month but have really been slacking. This is Lane at 32 weeks old. We can't really keep the bear next to him anymore, he just goes for it.

Yee Haw Ya'll

A Couple weekends ago Lane and I went up to Dallas to visit the Benton's. Emme has already grown much since her birth. You can grab her leg and not feel like it will snap. She is just a beautiful baby and has the sweetest face you've ever laid eyes on. That Saturday Jay's unit performed a demonstration at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Lane sported his First Cav outfit with his new pair of John Deere boots. He looked A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. Jay did a good job on his horse demo considering they were performing in a MUCH smaller arena then they or the horses are used to. They had to slow down their speed quite a bit. He had a large fan base there. Nana, Patricia, Amy, Allison, Tiffany, Jackson, Allena, and Frank all came to watch the show. Both Jackson and Lane are huge fans of the horses and cowboys. They couldn't take their eyes off'em. Later on that weekend Lane had his first casting call. He has his own modeling agent and she informed us that this will one of many in the future. He did well and gave many great Zoolander faces and poses. That about wraps up our big weekend. Hope all is well.

Look what I can do, and won't stop doing

Put him in the crib and he will instantly start trying to stand up. Here is Lane (or gerber baby as Nana calls him) standing in his crib at her house.

What a great Thanksgiving weekend we had. We went to Arlington, and stayed Wed- Sun and were sad to leave. Thanksgiving Day we went over to my Aunt Sara's house in Lewisville so Lane could meet my cousin Ailie and her kiddos for the first time. Olivia is my cousin Ailie's oldest and is just so pretty and so well behaved. She is 4 years old and calls her mom, mother! I thought that was hysterical. The moment she saw Lane she said, "Lane is so HANDSOME". I thought that was just precious. Her little boy Ian is a cutie as well, he was tired when we got there but was just too cute tromping around in his big shoes. We had a delish meal with the Bunte's and spent the rest of our trip visiting with friends and family. Looking forward to seeing everyone over Christmas break. Take Care

Lane Lewis is already 7 Months old Today, tear tear.... My baby can still be called a baby but folks, he's really growing up and getting so big. I wanted to share the 7 Things I Love About My 7 Month Old!

1.The way you give kisses-open mouth kisses with a side of slobber please

3.The way that you smile REALLY BIG at every person, whether they be stranger or friend

Tribute to the Fallen 11-10-2009

Today was a day full of emotion. 13 pairs of combat boots each with an inverted rifle and helmet, and a picture of each solider below. Obama gave a good speech, there was a rifleman salute and taps were played. We will NEVER Forget the FALLEN.

Cousin Visit

We had a great week! Lane and I went to Dallas for the week to spend time with sweet Emmeline. She is so sweet, cuddly, pretty and dainty. We love her and can't wait until Lane and Emme can really start to play and talk to each other. It will be so interesting to hear what they have to say to one another. See ya'll soon...

This past weekend was Jay and my Five Year Anniversary. My mom came down to watch Lane all weekend so we could go to Austin. Jay and I had a great time. We stayed downtown, ate almost every DELICIOUS meal outside (the weather was awesome), and did whatever we wanted to do. Lane and Grammy had a good time as well. Thursday me, my mom, and Lane went to Marble Falls to see my Aunt Shirley in her classroom. She loved the surprise as well as her little 5th graders. Lane also experienced his first trip to Salado, TX with Gram and Aunt Shirley. Jay and I could NOT WAIT to get back to Lew. He was all smiles when he saw us and all day today he wouldn't quit smiling and looking at us. It's very nice. I love this little guy soooo much.
