There are so many moments of every day that Lane expresses his love for me in his little baby ways. He constantly wants to be in the same room with me by my side, hanging on my leg, sitting in my lap, or pulling up on me and hugging me (Yes, he hugs now and I LOVE IT!). He tries to feed me everything from crackers to toys and he always wants me to put his pacifier in my mouth. I love him so MUCH and I love each age and stage more than the last.

Lane loves looking out the front door throughout the day. He REALLY loves it when Zeus decides to join him.

Weekend with the Benton's

The Benton Family came down to visit us this past weekend. We had a really good time with them and loved getting to spend time with our little pretty Emme. She is really a gorgeous baby and has the most beautiful olive skin. We played with babies and really just enjoyed all being together again. We miss you guys and can't wait to see ya'll next week. Yippppeeee!

Make that SIX

I find the teething process so neat (as long as it's not causing him grief). They are just popping up all over the place. He got his second upper lateral incisor today. Before you know it, he will be in BRACES!

We have 5 total

Lane cut his fifth tooth this weekend. Luckily this past one didn't bother him or make him cranky. I can't believe how fast he is popping these suckers out!

Happy NINE Month Birthday Lewwwww!

Yesterday we had Lane's 9 month photo session with the fabulous Sarah. She really is such a sweet lady and we really enjoy going to her home for Lane's pictures. It was not an easy session as Lane is VERY mobile and very curious about EVERYTHING. He didn't want to sit in the same spot at all but never the less we got some good shots. 9 Month Stats

We took Lane in this morning for his nine month check up. He didn't have to get shots at this one so I was happy about that. He weighs 20 lbs 12 ozs and is 29 inches tall. The doctor said he is growing normally and she thinks he will be a tall dude like his pops. She couldn't get over at how much of a flirt Lane was. He would smile and talk to her and then hide is face. I never realized how flirty he was either, but he was really hamming it up for her. Hope all is well with your families. Last night I made some baked tilapia and mac and cheese. We have been feeding Lane whatever it is we are eating for dinner so he gets used to dinnertime at the table. He LOVED the fish and didn't quite care for the cheesy pasta. We captured on video of him spitting all the mac out. Also this weekend Jay brought home the "new" Detachment dog, HITCH. He is a blue heeler and such a sweetie. They are testing him out for whenever Buddy has to retire. He is still under a year and I was so impressed how GREAT he was with lil Lew. He would allow him to pull, yank, hit all over him. Poor thing. We are still working on being gentle with Lane but not sure when he will catch on.
