Some December pictures

You have to love cell phone cameras. So much more convenient than digging around for your camera. Here are some iPhone pics from the last couple of weeks.

Long overdue update

Ok so we have really been slacking with the blog so here is a quick update. These are just a few random pictures from November. I don't have any from Thanksgiving but for those who were there, Lane wasn't exactly Mr. Sociable that day anyways.

A few of our lil Cutie

Lane is so silly. He makes Jay and I laugh all day. I'm so thankful I get to spend my days with my baby. Thank you Jay.

Looks like he's practicing some tai chi
18 months old and already working on his form. Looks good to us.

Lane chatting

Here is little video of Lane saying some words. I love how he says "papa." Reminds me of a little Italian boy.

Infectious laughter

Of course I only got the tail end of it, but Lane was laughing hysterically Sunday during the football game. It was a mixture of Ellen and the Cowboys playing

Oklahoma City Zoo+ Oktoberfest 2010= Busy Saturday!!!

Hey All! Yesterday was a busy but fun day for our little family. We decided to go take a look at the Oklahoma City Zoo. I had heard it was a great zoo and a must see if you have kiddos. Well... it was a total BUST! We drove an hour and a half to get there and lil Lew was so pumped up about it too. He has been pretending to be a lion for at least two weeks now. The Zoo was dismal to say the least. The grounds were not very manicured and the animals actual habitats looked nothing like their "real" habitats. Lane said they both got nothing compared to Dallas or Fort Worth Zoo!

Anywho, we went back home after a lunch and let Lane rest and play a bit. Then we decided to head up to the Oktoberfest that Ft. Sill was putting on for the military families. We should have just done this because it was free and it was great fun. Pony rides, face painting, fair food, rides, bounce houses you name it. We had a big time and went home tired.

Hope everyone's weekend has been just what you wanted it to be. We miss everyone as always and wish we got to see you more than we already do!

Love,The Bunte Family

We thought he wouldn't want to get in the bounce house, but he was Mister Hot Shot and crawled right in and started to bounce on his knees with the other kids!

Lane mad dogging someone. He has the grumpy face down pat
He was so serious the whole time he got his Dallas Cowboys star painted on.

It's finally Fall

The weather here this morn was a chilly 55 degrees. It was a nice change from the heat although I could barely take it even with a light jacket and pants on ;) As always, we can't wait to see everyone real soon. We've added a few pictures from Lane and Emme's photoshoot and a quick vid of Lane playing. Love y'all!

Lane loved this goat! Kept his hand on him at all times

Lane and Emme. They are sooo cute.

This is what Lane does when you ask him what a Lion does. Too cute.

Trip to Wichita Mountains

This morning Jay, Lane and I made an impromptu trip 25 miles north to the Wichita Mountains. All I have to say is "who knew this kind of beauty existed in Oklahoma". So far all we've know is Lawton, which isn't saying much but geez. This Wildlife Refuge was breathtaking. The weather was great! It was cool and crisp and we had a really good time. Lane really enjoyed himself once we got to an area where he could run around a bit. There were wild buffalo and longhorns roaming the prairies.

We had lunch at a famous burger joint called Meer Burger. They are made from the owners own longhorn cattle that are only grass fed and supposed to be a bit healthier for you than ground beef burgers. Hmmmmm. Anywho, they were delish and we might need to make a trip back there.

Hope ya'll are having a great weekend. Can't wait to see everyone again soon. Love The Bunte Family

My new doo

Ok, sorry for the long delay in updates. Alot has changed in the past couple of weeks. The weather is amazing now, Lane started Mother's Day Out and he received his first hair cut! Oh, and the NFL season is officially underway.

Lane loves brushing his teeth, or just sucking the water off

Cool!! Green water

He did so well during the haircut

Lane was so serious the entire time
