Party like a ROCKSTAR!!!

Another year gone. In disbelief, happiness, gratitude and a little sadness (only to think my man is growing up so quickly!), we had a great birthday party for my Lew! (The invitation made by Sarah Havard Photography) They were magnets so I thought that was pretty neat :)

Since Lane's birthday is in April, weather is always up in the air. It turned into a cloudy, muggy and rainy day for the Rockstar party! However, we did not let it stop the fun! A SUPER special thanks to all who came...I know it is hard when the weather is crummy. Lane has some absolutely precious friends. They are all growing up so fast.

My Aunt Sharon from Montana surprised us at the party. It was sooo good to see her and Lane can't wait to come visit Glacier National very soon.

my apologizes for the late post. I have had a handful of people asking about birthday pictures. Jay is supposed to be blogging but we are super busy with end of command/trips/moving etc. Try to be better at it.

Hey Ya'll. I've officially given Jay the reins to the blog since I've been busy dabbling in a few other projects. He's been doing good but I couldn't resist posting a few quick ones. We have been having so much fun around here. My sister came down Thursday night so she and our pretty little Emme could watch Jay in action performing his last demo at Fort Hood. Suzanne and Fred came down Friday morning to watch. It was really good to see everyone, wish we could have visited longer. We are really going to miss this job when Jay changes command May 27th.

Here is LEW in all of his curly haired, paci sucking glory. I swore I would NEVER be a mom who lets their child take a paci after 6 months. Tsssk. The thought of those morons! Don't they know their kids need to learn soothing mechanisms on their own. So, I will again have another slice of yummy humble pie. This one is quite the mess.

It's May!!!

We have been having so much fun with Lane. He is such a joy to be around right now, I wish he would stay this age forever. We went to the park yesterday, it was a perfect cool morning. Here are a few pics and videos from earlier in the week.
