Laney Monster!!!!

Lane is two weeks away from being 5 MONTHS OLD!!! Ahhhh I can't believe how fast he is growing. He gets sweeter and sweeter everyday. I can't believe how one day a child can't do one thing, say roll over and the next day you can't get them to quit. Lane has definitely mastered the art of the roll over, both ways. His little back muscles are getting so strong because he will push himself all the way up on his palms and grab toys at the same time! He is absolutely the BEST. I know you just want to kiss those cheeks off. The video on here is something Lane does quite a bit throughout the day. I like to think he is kissing me, but who knows. I imagine once he gets some teeth this activity will need to end VERY quickly. Enjoy and see ya'll soon.

Monster Attack!

Here is our little sunshine. He is Mister Go Go Go. He is really pushing up on his palms and lifting his hiney in the air to try and crawl. I think a couple of months and we won't be able to keep him in the same room with us for very long.

4 Month Well Baby Check up

Today Lane had his 4 month check up. He weighs 16 lbs 15 oz, he is 27 inches tall! He is in the 75-90 percentile for weight (big but no concern for overweight) and he is OFF THE CHARTS for his height! Looks like we may have a basketball player on our hands. My fingers are crossed. Other than that he did very well. You can sure tell a difference from his 2mth checkup to his 4mth. Very squirmy and trying to grab the doctors stethoscope. He cried during his shots but not too bad. He is my brave little man and everything is progressing like it should. See ya'll soon.

Baby is GROWING.......

Hello Everyone! Sorry it has been awhile since our last post. We have been a busy family, and it doesn't look like we will be slowing down anytime soon. Lane is GREAT! He is getting so "little boy" like. He wants to crawl sooo bad. I put toys down in front of him to entice him to crawl forward but he just makes this "skydiving" movement and grunts. It is too funny. After a while he will get frustrated and start to cry so then it's on to another activity. Lane has discovered his feet, and how to put them in his mouth. :) He won't quit bringing his toes to his mouth, it is getting difficult to change his diapers. Sometimes I'll put him down for the night and watch him playing with his feet on the camera in his crib.

We love him. We miss everyone and can't wait till our next visit to see you! Have a great day.

Lane laughed so much for us today. Jay and I were playing peek-a-boo with him and he was cracking up the entire time. I love hearing him laugh, it is the sweetest thing and makes my heart melt. Here is a little clip of him talking to us before his nightly bath. Not quite laughs but still cute.

Lane 15 Week Update

Here are a few pics we snapped of the wee one this week/weekend. Lane has started teething already! He is constantly shoving his hands in his mouth and slobbering everywhere. He has a little white spec on the middle of his lower gum. It is causing him some grief but he is still a happy smiley baby. He is getting cuter and cuter everyday, if that's even possible. :) Enjoy!
