Lane Update

We had Lane's 2 month check up this week. He weighed almost 17 lbs and 24 inches. The Dr. said everything was just fine with him. Here are some pictures and a video. We might have a future Michael Jackson. Well... without all the weirdness.

Erin & John are having a GIRL!!!!!!

Yay!!! We are so excited for the Benton's. Emmeline Hart Benton will be the most loved little girl and is going to be just adorable (kinda hard not to be with two beautiful parents). She will go by "Emme" pronounced Emmy. Too cute. Can't wait to meet you Emme!!Love you sooooo much already.

My Little Happy & Sad Baby

Lane is too funny. I snapped a few pics yesterday of him really smiling and trying to laugh. He will open his mouth like he's giving a huge belly laugh but nothing will come out. This morning Jay was trying to entertain him and he wasn't having it. I tried to get a picture of this really cute bottom lip pout in between his screaming cries but couldn't catch it.

Nana Visit

Suzanne came to visit Lane this past weekend. She was a super help, especially with Lane's night time feedings. It really is nice to be able to go to bed and wake up with a full night's rest behind you. Lane is truly doing magnificent since we had his tongue tie clipped. It has freed up his tongue and he's been taking alot more at meals and been going longer in between them. He is also very impressed with his "new" tongue. He loves to stick his out and copy you if you do the same. He will just smile at you and himself. He's SO MUCH FUN! These are a few pics Suzanne snapped of him and a couple old ones.

Strong Baby

Our baby is so strong and so active. I often ask myself if this is normal for a 6 week, almost 7 week old baby. Maybe so, but he makes me proud none the less. Here are a few pics I snapped of him this morning during one of his tummy times. He loves to look around when on your shoulder and once he gets tired he will just start sucking on his fists, or me. Pretty darn cute
